TYL & TEG
It was a dreary sort of morning out on the moors where I tend the long grass among the cliffs. The salt air speckled my cheeks and the rising sun glowed golden while the mists hung low to the ground. It’s been years of living alone on the outskirts of the woodlands and yet I crave the solace of the forest most mornings. It was in the mornings that I ventured into the nearby forest to forage for various roots, herbs, and bountiful flora. I could gather bundles of sage, tufts of heather, and handfuls of rosemary without depleting my garden. This morning was alive with sound, the peee-wit call of the lapwings, the sing song of the skylarks, and the wind whistling through the greenery.
A disturbance in the heather ahead.
